So it's Dungeon Crawler?
EDIT: Nah, it have the same Engine & GamePlay as the Pokémon ones... (Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Red & Blue, soon their sequels comes out...)
never played the pokemon mystery dungeon games, are they good if so i'll grab this later
Its ok, I don't seem to recognise anything from the SNES version so not sure what is new (if there is anything). Can't say I'm aching to play it again but I might give it a go when there is a drought of games.
i know these sort of games they not so bad, will grab this and play it defo
Doesnt look too bad judging from the trailer. Will try later
I remember it's related to Dragon Quest somehow... Am I right?
Oh, bravo!! I guess they need someone with little brain in their group.
Easy question: Better or worse than Soma Bringer?
This is from ChunSoft so must be the same as Pokemon Mystery Dungeon minus Pokemon's? Grrr...I'm not gonna beat the dead horse but seriously there is FFTA2 and Soma Bringer with no release dates anywhere on the horizon. Can this game possibly sell more than those two?!? I AM buying them if they do get released but i wouldnt even spend $5 on this.
Buy this game people!
There are a couple reviews linked in a thread I created about this game last night.
Technically Pokemon Mystery Dungeon was just this with pokemon thrown in, if I am not mistaken this is a port of the snes game.
YES!!! There goes the rest of my day!!! for it is time to WANDER!
Not quite Pokemon. This game is actually difficult.
This is one of the best roguelikes created. If you don't roguelikes, stay away. If you do like roguelikes, then you're an idiot for passing on this.
It is related to Dragon Quest in the sense that Chunsoft did the earlier Dragon Quest games.
This is not simply Pokemon Mystery Dungeon without Pokemon. There's more to it. It's not as dumbed down, and more challenging.
Exactly. I played the hell out of Shiren on the SNES but couldn't spend 5 minutes with the watered, dumbed down Pokemon game.
Pokemon held your hand like you were a wee little child... then again, that just means Pokemon was targeted to the Pokemon market correctly...
Mark my words, folks. People are going to come back to come back and cry and complain about this game because they are noobs that cannot handle the pain of the death system.
Everyone just needs to realize that dying is a part of the game. It serves a valuable purpose - you learn from your mistakes and that's how you improve. You cannot go through this game and never die. It's just too hard. You die, you learn, you try again. The dungeons are randomized for this purpose. You learn new strategies when enemies defeat you...come back, try again..then beat them. You can store some stuff in your warehouse, but for the most part you die and start all over.
