too bad the DS is so popular, diluting the mystery of any tricks it might expose
Do you need the card deck that comes with it?
Nope, you can use a normal card deck. Or some special one
Woh 30 people are reading this thread for an average release . Might try this, just to learn some crappy card trick.
Edit- Bad Grammar
Hmm.. So this game teaches you Magic tricks?
I might try it out for fun. I'm going down to the store later then.. I lost my deck of cards.
I think I might pass this one.
Its kind cool, the tricks are kind of obvious though.
I wouldn't necessarily call it an average release, considering Nintendo's past has deep roots in card games
Huh, seems a lot like Daigasso Band Brothers...let's hope for a localization of that game too then.
Wow how weird is it that the menus are basically copied from Daigasso Band Brothers
Both are Nintendo games, I wont be surprised if they were developed by the same team.
Ahh I did not know that
Some of these tricks are actually pretty clever
I wonder if the game keeps the same 'feel' as the Japanese original version (which actually came with its own trick deck of cards). The Japanese game, when you went through the tutorials felt more like a 'impress your girlfriend' kind of thing with they way the graphics had been designed.
The deck, if it is identical to the Japanese release, is marked. A few of the tricks require you to know how to read the marked cards to give the desired effect
Haha my old brother has been waiting for this.
LOL! Really? That's hilarious!
Aww, so it's only card tricks?
I thought it would be more Criss Angel illusionist tricks lol. But I might try this one out for the heck of it.
Oh man, why does this have characters and gameplay elements from Daigasso Band Bros? Thats just awesome.
I played(?) the Japanese version, not bad.
Basically they teach you a trick, you practice it and show it to someone.
kinda annoying it only allows you to get certain amounts of points per day. Took me like two weeks to unlock everything, without changing DS calender settings at all.
