Oh sweet, it finally comes with Wi-Fi!
Should be a great game, with WiFi and all, let's hope so!
So, before i delete old good advance wars, is it worth it?
is it like tank beat? or is it better than tank beat?
Doesn't work on M3 Lite Perfect. V35 firmware with V35b manager.
I tried all possible combinations of settings.
GOOD LORD, HEAVEN IS FINALLY HERE!!. WW2, HERE I COME
Sorry for Urza'ing the text, the emotion compels me.
As soon as I get home, I'll install this baby and will never ever let go till the Third Reich is ashes again.
Alright, now waiting for my new R4DS is going to be much more difficult.
FINALLY!!!! Hadrian can breathe a sigh of relief now.
Now im waiting for some genius to port wesnoth to the ds
Is this an advance wars clone?
Wow... This game actually looks decent.
I wish I could play this right now... I will tommorow. I haven't touched my DS in 2 weeks.
Impressions plz? Turn based or action?
Do you blow shit up? (i assume you do)
My understanding is it turn-based set on a hexagonal grid.
So neither action nor an advance wars clone...
Personally, Ive been hanging out for this for a while!
I'm glad to have played this game abit and I'm going to go back to it after I get past a part in another game...I have a tight rotation going@!
Anyone got this working on a G6lite, and if so, what settings?
quick first impressions
the game seems like a mix of battle isle and advance wars
you can play various historical settings, for example WW2.
while the overall visualization won't blow your mind, the fight scenes actually look rather impressive.
but who cares, this game is about strategy and it's got tons of it.
if you care about games like advance wars you definitely owe yourself to give this gem a try, so far i'm loving it.
plus i can't wait to give wifi a try, online matches would really be the icing on the cake.
Just got it. First look is, it's not to be compared with Tank Beat or Steel Horizon. Why? Because it is at the very least, a decent game, which could not be said for the two said pieces of crap.
It won't blow people's mind with outstanding graphics, but it has a good strategic ground. Ant it's all I ask from a strategy game. Good mechanics with decent graphics.
Lemme get this straight: You're telling me that a game published by Conspiracy Entertainment, the kings of shovelware, actually have a half decent game on their hands?
Nope. I played it only for 20 minutes or so, but so far, no big disappointment.
Apart from a few cheesy cliches here and there (why does your portrait look stuffed into a uniform?), it is not too bad. Of course, I have mostly been reading the in-game glossary and attempting a training mission, but it looked and played okay.
I won't be able to give anymore impressions for a while: battery came to an abrupt end, I have to wait for 2 hours and a half for it to refill (plus, I have some students' homeworks to correct... I have to stuff some work between my gaming moments, now... Damn you, FFTA2... ).
