Introduction to a group of buddhist sutras known as the Perfection of Wisdom sutras (personified in Hannya who's on the cover), the most well known being the Heart and Diamond sutras. All drawn by Jiro Kuwata, one of the pioneers of modern manga, who happens to be a born again buddhist.
Summary: Unless you're really into Buddhism and can read Japanese there's not much to be seen here...
Thanks for the explanation Luksy.
Unfortunately the game's "painting" is totally worthless, while the so-called calligraphy is as awful as it is in http://kokoromitsuo.ertain.com/
(gbatemp thread was http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=40170 )
I love calligraphy and I know the touch screen is not pressure sensitive, not comparable to a wacom tablet for example, but still their "calligraphy" in both titles is really an insult. That the Japanese themselves put this out shows how much this is just poor title for more $$$. Even Kakitori Kun DS the kanji training game as a somewhat decent writing interface where at least you can simulate "hooks" on the characters.
The screen is touch sensitve, but ironically the only program (that I know of) that actually uses it is Colors, which is homebrew.
