This is actually a translation of Tenohira Gakushuu: Zettai Onkan Training DS by Japanese developer Success.

You'll have to blame the Japanese for the "faux-Japanese"!

All I think it would help with is identifying chords but I only tried it out for a bit so maybe there's more to it.
