I suppose that it's because of the different languages (and that the US release was just under 1024 and this one is just over).

I only want too switch with wi-fi games. The eur. version connects too the Eur. Nintend Wi-Fi servers. Which will result for me in less lagg and a shorter waiting time when connecting too the server.The US save also works on the EU version.

There probably isn't much point in switching the US one on your flash cart for this, unless you need those other languages.
Probably the Kirby Effect. American boxart has to look more serious and ominous, rather than flighty and happy, or else it won't intrigue the casual crowd.
Or maybe so it doesn't bring up the terrible memories of sailing in Wind Waker.
Yes, the kirby effect explanation sound good. But one might think that zelda games sells themselves on the strong name.
