    I never liked Spyro.
In general I prefer heroes that actually have thumbs.

I just hope this is better than that last lame attempt. I've enjoyed the Spyro games since its PS1 days. On another note, I love this time of year; today has been a good day (actually the whole flippin week) for PSP and DS!

what does availability on usenet have to do with the post's accuracy? usenet isn't the first place these things hit, you know...

I actually am looking forward to the GBA version. It looks like a great 2d platformer with a cool combo system. Perhaps this one is good too, I don't know.

Its better thats for sure but its not great. Graphics could be a lot better and could have less fogging, I'd say they were worse than the first PSX game. The camera is OK for a 3D game. Controls are OK too.

Gameplay is simple, clearly aimed at the young uns. Nothing engaging, compared to the PSX games its a massive step down in puzzle solving and so on.

So basically its another mediocre 3D DS title like Tak: The Great Juju Challenge. I might play it if theres nothing else around. Still its better than most titles nowadays that get churned out...cough...any DSI/Zoo Digital game.

Looking forward to the GBA title a lot more.

Seems alright I guess. Draw distance could have been better. I could have done without the touchscreen parts.

I'm so scared to play Spryo on DS after they sold me Spyro: Shadow Legacy that including multiple glitches and my personal favorite, a game ending glitch. Worst money ever spent.

This is the second of the Legend trilogy (A New Beginning being the first). I only played the first on the PS2. Are the DS versions any good.

I can agree with you there [IMG]

All the Spyro games I've played have been 2D side-scrollers...and, like the Crash Bandicoot games, have all been crap.

    This game is full 3D, it's not a side-scroller.

Will give this a try but only since it's Spyro. But I really dislike this new art style. Cover image for example... Spryo looks shit like hell [IMG] ... wtf have they done to this cute little draggie [IMG]

Tried this too. The minute I heard the obnoxious jumping sound and him saying "Fly!" when you...fly...I pretty much shut it off and deleted it.
