Nice, I was looking forward to this. I don't expect much of it though...
Btw, Micronauts are really fast with dumping!
Its as bad as the GBA ones. Which is a shame we could do with a good basketball game.
I am aware of Mario 1 on 1.
Big lol @ the cover
Just seen it! Looks like a 8 year old photoshop job.
I remember playing the "backyard" sports games on the old Commodore 64 years ago. I'll have to give this a go and see how it compares.
Why can't we have an ACTUAL basketball game on the DS?
It's more of "3 on 1", the player being the "1", the CPU being the "3".
Well whatever it was called!
wow, this is a terrible attempt at basketball game on DS. mario hoops 3 on 3 is so much better. i really hope they don't mess up backyard hockey, as it's the only hockey game we've ever been offered.
i preffer to play in the front yard rather than the backyard lol
why release this cr@p??? some kids will be buying this for £30 and be totally disappointed!!!!
Yep. Not much on some sports. Last month, it had been TWO entire calender years since any NHL game was released on a Nintendo platform, the last one being NHL 06 for Gamecube in September 2005.
Would be nice if EA gave us some Hockey love once in a while, we have to make do with Backyard Hockey.
A Mario one would suffice.
I think the makers see it as, "Well we have our £30......."
If the rom is under 128 MBit, the game is definitely crap.
sceners, don't hold out for 1464 or 1465 - tried them and worse than this game
That doesn't make ANY sense at all.
They should have called it: "Backward Basketball".....
Another crappy release...-.-
Even the old commodore 64 version was better than this. That's sad, considering how ancient the C64 is. In the C64 version, you picked out your team from a group of kids, not just have pre-selected teams like this game has. The fields you played on were also filled with chuck holes and whatnot to trip you up. No ridiculous power-ups.
This game is just lameness.....where the hell are the powerups coming from? It's just all of a sudden, there is some power up messing with you. WTF! How did that happen? I don't know. Also, the fields have no obstacles....that was the whole point of the backyard series on the C64. And why can't I pick my team like you do in a real-life backyard game? Even TV shows still do the bit where the pipsqueak gets chosen last. But not in this game.
What are these programmers thinking nowadays. They completely missed the whole point of a "backyard" game. DUH!
DELETE! I might even put it on the card again just so I can delete it again.
