This release is nuke. It's the US Version.

so the European English version is identical to the US one, right down to the ESRB warning?

No. There is no ESRB warning in this version, neither is it in Pearl v1.13.

No it's not. US and UK-version appear to share the US-serial internally (not on the cart which always means different dumps on the DS!) but are different versions which was already the case with some Pokemons on the GBA. I guess it uses UK-english instead of american.

but 1.13 was released in the US? or is this actually the UK version? It was just the first reply ("This release is nuke. It's the US Version.") that made me think otherwise.

edit: ah nevemind, post above explains it

Gameplay wise, most probably not. But there is no American ESRB warning, and you might find that words such as ""color"" are now "colour" etc.

    Somewhere in this potatoland!

It is the European English version.

I tested with my own cart after reading about it (Rom Game serial shows USA):

My cart has NTR-ADAP-EUR as serial printed, but when you dump it (with Rudolphs dump tool) and run it through NDSHEADER 1.4 it says NTR-ADAE-USA as serial

BUT the CRC is different when you compare it to the USA dump
    and NO ESRB warning

    Same for the Pearl version

So it' not a nuke in my eyes.

Yet I doubt even that. It takes 3 months to remove an ESRB warning. It would take another year to actually edit some words by adding a letter to them.

The games release is the same everywhere in Europe. So in that 3 months some of the words are edited, but there is also a translation to French, to German, to Italian, to Spanish and some other languages I probably forget.

It's possible you may need this to import Pokemon from the European GBA carts, or link with PAL Pokemon Battle Revolution however.

Excuse my stupidity, but why does this carry the v.1.13 addage?
Obviously it means it is version 1.13, but is there a Euro' version 1.0?
