    nah, this is the latest iteration of the Monster Rancher series. Series has been around for a long time since ps1. basically, game was cool cuz, on the ps1/ps2 games you were given the choice to make monsters. to make them the game would prompt you to take out the game cd and switch it with any cd of your choice (a game, music cd, software, etc. anything) and it would make a monster depending on the data that was on that cd. it was really fun to see what monster ud get outta that britney spears cd =P. series even had an anime. but in any case, wonder how they did it with this one....

    It generates the monsters from GBA games, something you say, and by drawing on the screen.

    Hence the title contains "draw" and "speak" - They`re the main ways of generation. You supposedly draw a magic circle thing on the screen, or say a "spell".

    I haven`t played it - just read Famitsu.
