Is this another movie made to game?
I can't imagine anyone would make such detailed box art for a budget game otherwise.
europe are lightyears behind the likes of shrek for these types of movies lol!
Has anyone tried this? I can't find any reviews and it doesn't look that bad...
This game probably would have been pretty good if Pixar was still part of disney. The Toy Story game for genesis rocked.
The game is not to bad. It has a story mode and a cooking game as well. The main game is in 3D and works really well, choice of pad or stylus control which can be switched while in play using select. My main gripe is that there is no camea control, not sure how tat will affect the game as I have only just started to play it. Presentation is not to bad, the 3D is a bit bitty but runs smoothly. Some of the 2D animations look really basic. As a moive tie in it doesnt look to bad ( for a change ). Younger players will enjoy it.
Pixar is owned by Disney. They ended their partnership and then Disney ended up buying them. Steve Jobs made a lot of money.
Just watched the movie last night. Another brilliant Pixar film.
Boxart or just a screen from the film downscaled and re-rendered?
I want this film so bad in hi def the quicktime trailer is amazing.
Raytracing and sub surface scattering galore!
I think the box art is from a screen in the movie, because I've seen that picture a lot. It looks like an awesome movie, I know it wont be an awesome game but im hoping for mediocre.
No opinions about the game so far, so here comes mine
It's really funny, it looks nice and have some great ideas.
You're a mouse so you must hide from humans, you have a stealth meter a la Splinter Cell and you can choose either normal controls or stylus only controls.
So far it looks like a well made game.
I'm yet to try the cooking game, so my opinion may change
My 2 cents...
The game objectives seem very basic but entertaining enough... plays like your typical 3d platformer. Controls are very clean and slick. Plays very well with the stylus.
Graphics are also nice looking. Plus the stealth thingie is a nice tough for this type of game.
Worth a try!
The movie looks really good
You must have missed my post then.....
Wasn't expecting this so soon, wasn't suppose to be out until 26th. Screens do look very nice (especially for a THQ DS title) might give it a go. Can't say I give a rats about the film the last CGI film I liked was Monster House, all the others are just meh. Last good Pixar film was Incredibles, now they seem to be just doing the same thing again and again, their next film is suppose to be about robots mmm not had a robot cgi film before. Well I guess this film would be better than the usual.
Would rather have More Brain Training and Nervous Brickdown early though.
EDIT: I quite like this, I'd say its one of the better 3D platformers on the DS (the other is erm Mario 64 the others erm...). This game seems to have at least a lot more thought to it than most crap THQ churn out. Can't say I'd want to play it but its good. Very easy and I think I've played several levels in under 20 minutes though.
His observation skills are... lagging... ha ha ha
On Topic: Good game, now I even want to see the movie.
Well, there was that film called Robots. It was from Fox.
