Anyone tried this? Black Cat is decent.
I would totally hit Eve....
That aside, me wants this game.
Black Cat is like a Trigun clone, therefor me =
is this based on an anime or something?
Yes, there's a manga as well
So...What type of game is this? Like, what do you do?
Black Cat... but with card battles eh.
Will probably require extensive Japanese knowledge then.
... not saying i don't believe you (i do infact) but those pictures don't particularly do much justice to your statement. (they aren't that similar).
beside that anyway, i found black cat manga to be decent and so i'll prob DL this game for collection, however it's in japanese so i doubt i'll play it.
It's not just those, you know. Just check the link I posted there. At that time a similar case happened with a female mangaka which copied a lot of scenes from Slam Dunk and Harlem Beat for her Shoujo manga. Dunno the title anymore... Tho, this guy was in trouble too, but not that serious as we can see. Anyways, just check the link.
Some of the comparisons they make are way out in the left-field, but I guess I can see their point. Problem is the majority of the Shounen Jump audience (American ones anyway) probably think it's one of the greatest series on earth. It has guys w/ dark pasts, a "loli" and some sex appeal.
In any case, this game is more Rock-Paper-Scissors than actual card battle. Nothing really fancy, just tons of screencaps from the anime and then you fight people. Beat them and deal damage, tie and both take equal damage, lose and you get hurt, as far as the basic RPS rules are concerned. You can stack the same thing (like 3 Rock) and it will deal more damage if you win, but if you tie it's still the same. Simple little "I attack you" type scenes, cry in pain as the little voice acting person yets out a yell, etc.
If I didn't have the worst luck at RPS I would probably enjoy this more.
Black Cat is featured in Jump Ultimate Stars, so no.
