Aw. Fuck yeah!
nice, more boards game. 4in1 with monopoly, yahtzee was quite decent
Too bad they were too lazy to make a 4th game and just used Battleship from the first batch instead.
How funny. I do recall Battleship being on the Genesis many years ago.
Yep. I have it. Found it at a garage sale for $1 a couple years back and picked it up. Not too bad of a game although it does take a little long to play.
I refuse to play Battleship against a computer.
It knows where your pieces are!
Or you are just not good at the game.
doesnt work on my g6 lite
Trouble aint nothing without the pop-o-matic.
Though I'm sure the ds simulates it admirably.
Aren't Trouble and Sorry practically the same exact game too?
Also, out of curiosity, is this really a US game, or a Europe game? Another site is reporting its Europe.
Yeah, that's odd. The NFO says it's a USA release but I'm also getting told that it's a Europe release from another site as well. I'll check Advanscene 2moro morning just to be sure...
Sorry 'n Trouble are two different games. I had both board games as a kid. And I can confirm that they both suck. Trouble is all about chance. A robot can play for you. Same with Sorry. There's really no strategy in those games at all from what I remember. It's like snakes and ladders. It's just all random. You can't be good at it.
Battleship on the other hand has some strategy involved. And of course Connect Four has needs strategy too.
i agree. these games are kind of weak. maybe they would be fun if you're in elementary school. i prefer clubhouse games which includes similar games to these as well as many more.
Hmm, I thought they both were just slightly modified versions of Parcheesi, just that Sorry uses cards, and Trouble uses dice in the pop up thing.
So how does it play? Gonna check this out.
Anybody remember the ad for connect four from the mid-nineties?
"Got 3 in a row go for one more"
Go 4 it, CONNECT 4!
excellent choice of games
If you like the board games this game has, you will probably like this. It has decent 3D graphics and even has speech. I only played Battleship (where I heard the speech) and Connect Four at this point, but they looked OK and played fine. I'm not really familiar with the other two games though, so I couldn't say how they compare to the real board games. The games were touchscreen controlled.
It's tons better than a similar type games on the GBA, that's for sure.
There IS multiplayer, though not online.
