I read this is a remake of the SNES game which has a 100% translation if anyone hasn't played it and fancys a try.
Great game, if I remember rightly theres not much text anyway.

Ah so I did, I see the Bionicle release but not the Spectrobes, didn't see either pre. Will sort it out later I have to pop out now for a bit =)

From what I've heard, this plays out like Final Fantasy Tactics. Now I've never played Final Fantasy Tactics, so are you sure there's not a lot of reading required in order to play this?

Genre: action/shooter?? More like Turn based strategy.

The original versions were great and at first you wont need much knowledge of Japanese but you probably will later on but seeing its a remake you'd could probably get a guide on the original that'll help you.

Front Mission is like Tactics Ogre meets Super Robot Wars. This game is definitely a classic and deserves to be played, but I'd recommend using the excellent translation patch of the SNES game that's already out there. You're missing a lot otherwise, even if FM is lighter on text than the likes of the SRW games.

Just grab the SNES Translation if you want to play this and cannot read Japanese. Also, love Front Mission 3.

On a side note, anyone know if they plan on bringing Front Mission 5 for PS2 to the US? I know they brought #4 here but it got bad reviews so I'm afraid they won't bring the much superior #5 here.

yeah indeed... the Front Mission 3 better hijack robot suits and upgrade weapon etc..
