TMNT never die!
I love them .
Just had a quick go, graphics are quite nice tho dark cityscapes aren't really the DS's forte. First level has you jumping across rooftops as leonardo to learn the controls. Jumping seems Zeldaish, you have to go to a glowing area, press jump and then you automatically spring to the glowing spot on the next building.
Edit: X button to jump forwards, Y button to jump left, A button to jump right First stage feels more like a dancing game.
Long loading screens, dunno if it's as bad on the retail cart.
I dunno whether to bother trying this or not, probably will one day. I already beat the 360 release 1000/1000 in 4 hours it was pretty crap.
This game is pretty decent, except for the fighting. I just beat the first boss without getting hit by standing right in front of him and tapping 'B'. I like the running & jumping parts though.
Cool.....now I just need the GBA version for the FUN gaming.
Can you link the two?
Haven't you seen the screenshots of the GBA version? It's like the old TMNT arcade games. High probability that it's gonna be awesome.
Oh what a loveley sunday. Both versions out today. Brilliant.
BTW: I think RS is also LGC on the DS, cause they have the same slogan.
... WTF DOES THAT MEAN???
No but the GBA pisses on this one, though the DS version is not bad and kinda plays different to other DS titles its still nothing to the GBA retro goodness.
I think he's talking about the release groups Rising Sun and Legacy. I think.
I've changed my mind on this one, I thought the first few levels were just training but its like that ALL THE BLOODY WAY THROUGH its completely boring, a really stupidly designed game and it has no challenge for anyone whatsoever. Stick to the console ones if you really need TMNT in 3D, if you want to play a Turtle game that is ACTUALLY fun grab the GBA version or the SNES games.
any screens on this one?
this game AWSOME!!!
Looks good, but I'll need to see how it compares to Turtles in Time
The PSP version sucked. I think I'll go for the GBA one.
The PSP version of the game was just released too. Wonder how that one is...
