Way to completely miss my point, guys. What I meant was that the English words "Canvas" and/or "Curse" might have some other unintended implication in another European language (like the Mitsubishi Pajero) hence Nintendo changing its English title to something else.

I don't notice any issues when the subtitle Canvas Curse is translated. Wouldn't be the first time Nintendo has renamed a game though. (Star Fox 64 = Lylat Wars, Star Fox = Star Wing)
