Hehe. This is definetelly not one to play on the bus!
The game is very fun. It's a nice cutesy-poo platformer, which seems to be heavily based on the Mario games.
The game seems to be quite big (apparently there are about 72 levels). The game is just FUN to play.
Peach's (magical? must be because it talks!
) umbrella gives out a few new twists on the gameplay which fit in well.
The animations and graphics are top-class! Beautiful fluid characters, animations, landscapes and backgrounds.
The music... Is nice, I guess. It's just cute music. Nothing instantly "catchy" or particuarly memorable, which is a little disapointing.
The music does the trick, but nothing more from what I've heard so far.
The level design I hope will improve... They're your generic platformer design thus far... Hopefully these are just the "training levels" and the later levels provide more depth and deeper gameplay.
I'm going to say that any Mario game fan MUST play this game.
(FYI: It appears that the game saves correctly on a EEPROM 4Kbit cart (Metroid demo for ex.), whether the save increases past 4Kbit, I don't know yet...)
