Now playing hard mode and it's nice. I don't think this game has much replay-value though. I didn't like the Julius mode either. (except that you van play different chars.)

Hmm? How to unlock hard mode? Already got the best ending, but I can't seem to get higher then 99.5 percent, wtf? I got all the secret rooms already.

Great game! Instead of wearing the strongest armour all the time, I've been wearing the Three Seven's, (dropped by those clowns that throw playing cards), my Rare Ring, and sometimes the Ghost Dancer soul, which all raise luck, so I can get the most souls possible. I had the rare ring from the beginning though thanks to Aria of Sorrow being in the DS.

With higher level the Skelerang soul, throwing weapons are sweet. I feel each weapon has it's strong point this time around, instead of just swords being the best for the most part, like AoS.

My two Bat familliars are fun too.

I can't seem to get the Rare Ring when starting a new game in Castlevania DS with Aria of Sorrow in the GBA slot... (I'm using F2A Ultra 512Mb and Aria of Sorrow is the only game in the cart). Can anyone help?

I'm not sure if Dawn of Sorrow checks the serial number of the Aria of Sorrow game that's inserted, but if it does, then you're SOL. Besides, it's not like the rare ring is all *that* useful. You'll find that trying to get some enemies' souls, while killing them you'll end up getting their rare items anyways, so it doesn't really matter.

It's been bumped... just finished it.. loved it.
I am wondering how many people ACTUALLY finished the game though.

-There are 3 ending versions I discovered;
Version-1 I was like wtf this can't be it...
Version-2 They actually tell you what to do if you read...
Version-3 Reminds me of Berserk (when Griffin becomes it)
-5 enemies I haven't encountered because;
-I still can't get in the very bottom left of the castle.
Probably some dumb soul which will turn me into a fish to access the area.

I will eventually get around to get 100% souls
