Could there be some way to prevent it from affecting the neural system? As far as I know, drug stimulate certain neural chemical when it moves from cell to cell. If the receptor/ triggering process gets altered it should render drug useless. Of course if human have a far more powerful secondary neural system we should be immune to drug to a greater degree.
And thus we eliminate a whole market and we all get to be in a drug free world. But then maybe some people need to be controlled for society to function, or maybe it's just fun to set everything on fire.

Wtf is this bs it shouldn't even be in the EOF
first you would have to administrate a drug first and regularely to people which is not possible
second they would just take more drugs and reach letal doses without feeling it
And if you alter the receptor / trigering processeses in the brain of a person, sure he might be imune to drugs but he would also turn into a larvae

Drug immunity exists to some people. Sometimes, med do nothing to them.

I think electrical stimulation/ more physics based process will replace drug in hospitals.
Not just the brain. The entire neural system is replaced and of course we need to test its abilities to process. If we pull it off, we might even advance intelligence to a much greater degree.
The thing is, drug is not necessary for any body system to function, and there are good alternatives to some disorder that require them.

I believe I mentioned it in a previous thread on the matter
    https://news.weill.cornell.edu/news...vaccine-approved-for-clinical-study-in-humans
What you describe sounds like a method by which various drugs might be rendered ineffective, there are doubtless other means by which it could also be done (assuming you can not just have it absorbed and metabolised earlier than it would be in a stock human then some of the behaviours of opioid class chemicals and the related patents might yield something).

Going by previous threads I imagine I know where this going (and having a predictive model of Yil in my head is a strange thing now that I think about it) but where do you want this to go?

Fasanating. The first one is prevent absorption, and If lung would be able to clean itself and reject entry to bloodstream, and digestive system to ignore drug. But considering lots them gets through direct injection immunity response would be great solution as well. If only we can mark Drug as external and invasive. Though it will cause further stress on urine. The third is of course my idea and if only we can study people with immunity. But then making Drug much more lethal is not a bad idea either, returning to them to original purpose of killing animals foolish enough to consume them.

Are drugs such a great problem from where you sit? There seem to be plenty of people that can manage to live happy lives using all sorts of them. Why ruin their fun?

    "purpose"
There are plenty of animals that eat fermented fruit, there are plants that have evolved to have fire as part of their reproductive cycle and I can see something evolving that gives something else a good time in exchange for furthering its own existence. Beyond that something might poison a slug but be harmless to a rabbit, said rabbit maybe the spreading seeds further than a slug ever would. Purpose is a tricky word to use so broadly in biology.

    "more lethal"
There are no poisons, only poisonous doses. All making them more lethal would do would cause better regulation in doses, though again I am not sure why you would want make things more poisonous.
