Homebrew dreamcast?

hi, it says in this thread that there is an emulator for the console dreamcast VMU, is this the dreamcast or is it some kinda sequal or somthing, and what does VMU mean anyway?

vmu means visual memory unit.

it was the dreamcast memorycard, which had a small lcd.

there are many games out for the vmu, which can now be played on the ds via this emulator.

Oh man, I remember that little memory card thingy. It was like one of those old school Tamagotchi but i also believe you could connect two together and battle...good times.
