I may have been premature in calling the game of thrones game the last RPG esque title for for a while as this appeared as well but the next one really is Risen 2 in July or Fable in early September. Could be quite good although not much promotion from what I have seen which can mean things.

Innovative Team-Based AI Gameplay 
 
Dragon's Dogma introduces an innovative team system to the genre. Utilizing Xbox LIVE, players will journey to the Rift where they can share their own Pawns with friends and be rewarded with treasure, knowledge of the world and strategies for taking down enemies. Conversely, players can borrow friends' Pawns with the specific skills or experience required to tackle a particular quest. In addition, Dragon's Dogma will ship with thousands of ready-made Pawns for players to select offline.

From what I played in the demo, this game hits all the right points with me: Creative Freedom-esque Fighting, Open World filled with monsters, quests that have you exploring the world and experimenting with it, great character customization, team based combat that depends on the rather intelligent AI, and dungeons that flow with fantasitical mysticism and don't feel like a chore. The demo impressed me quite a bit, this game is a great blend of Eastern and Japanese RPGs, and it's certainly not a game that will appeal to just one side of the world.

Now all I need it money...

Anyone with a 360 or PS3 who enjoys a good RPG needs to give this a go. The game is excellent and the battles are epic.
