I agree. The DQ series has been amazing, (minus the Chapters of the Chosen, which wasn't a bad game really, I just didn't like the character swapping.). It's a series I've enjoyed for a number of years so I'm really wanting this and DQM Joker 2 right now.

The Dragon Quest Overture. It's the opening theme for every game in the series. (Although I, II, and III have a different version of it, and IX has another slightly different version.)

-battle animations look great and the game itself looks like ff6 (my best 2d rpg game)
-3d parts are well done and look smooth
-will it beat dq9... i doubt it
-why do they release dq games not in sequence/succession ie. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 ?
SE have become experts in remaking games in such fashion AND this game has 14th FEB release which wont be affected by 3ds i think... thanks for the trailer
