Gaming Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation Hype Thread

I almost feel if the game is dumped there will be those pesky anti-dumping features which lock up the game. For example, I think there was one in an earlier Dragon Quest where you couldn't get off a boat.

Even if the game is dumped by someone then there is still the issue of getting around those. I'm just going to wait for the official release which hopefully comes patched or with a patch.

Please ignore my comments if there have been advances in this area which do not cause this to happen - I don't spend alot of time in this scene

Anyway, I suggest this to anyone waiting for the DQ VI dump; go pick an RPG from the stickied RPG thread and play that for a bit. We probably won't be waiting too much longer for this release. Remember Final Fantasy: 4 Heroes of Light? That one took a while, too.

Doing that now.. Not sure which one I'm gonna play tho, maybe this Away - Shuffle Dungeon.

or just play the fan translated english patched one (which is more the playable) and transfer the save over when the US release comes...

or the snes translated version..

it's not like this game is hard to find a version to play at all..

The DS scene seems a little slow the last few months, give it a couple weeks and you might finally see it. I'm in no rush I could wait a year if it took that long.

i dont know the password it my grandfathers wifi we did it one time but we cant remember how we did we use clear he has no knowledge of technology so he afraid to mess with it

After playing through 6, so far, DQ series needs to learn to innovate. The system is way to archaic. 1-6 gets a pass since they are remakes of old games but 9, for instance, is garbage since it is a new game but the developers were VERY lazy and went archaic. Looked nice though V_V. Back to TWEWY where game play actually matters
