Eh. The first one was good in the way of graphics and pushing ds limits, but as a hardcore Dragon Warrior Monsters fan, i was a little put off with the all the renaming, and palette switching. oh well. i may still take a look thought.

the first game was very good. if the second one have better story and more monsters may be the best monster game for the ds. after pokemon of course

Gah i disagree. Dragon Warrior Monsters, or Dragon Quest Monsters is still better than pokemon. DQMs got breeding and leveling up that makes sense. AND proper 3D battles. that alone is good enough for me.

Hadn't played one either a year ago, but I started with DQ Monster Joker 1. Great game, very addicting. Then I started DQ IV, also a fantastic game, but too much grinding to keep me entertained.
