Apparently, there will not be a playable demo at TGS, but there will be a trailer and the listing says 2008 release.

I believe this is the longest developing of one NDS game......
I really hope it'll come out this year, but somehow, I doubt it.........I wonder what kind of freakin' masterpiece it'll be..

I still hate how they changed it from a real-time action system to a turn-based one.
No idea how multiplayer, if it still has it, will work now.

I like the fact that they changed it to turn-based. And as for multiplayer, this was in EGM October:

"When I'm making a game, I don't focus too much on the power of the console," says Horii. "I wanted to make a game utilizing the DS' wireless communications, and after careful consideration, I chose DQ as the medium for this idea. DQ9 represents the evolution into a multiplayer experience. I'm sure that with past titles, players have shared their adventures in some manner, but DQ9 will finally give players the chance to actively participate together" ~Yuji Hori

Yay....I didn't know they changed to turn-based...I love it....man, those screenshots do look beautiful...

This could possibly be the peak of DS gaming..Game looks huge and very pretty..
