Namco Bandai has uploaded a new trailer for the upcoming game Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. This trailer shows both story elements and new bits of gameplay. The game will launch in North America on October 25 for PS4 and Xbox One, and on October 28 for PC.

The Xenoverse series is definitely better than Tenkaichi/Raging Blast/Ultimate Tenkaichi but still doesn't compare to the great Budokai/IW/BL so I'm guessing since Dimps is doing 3D Dragon Ball fighting games, the 2D/2.5D are off the table. :-/

2 things i hate about dbz games ar3 the effects, 2nd the transformations during missions looks nothing like in the anime. For example the gohan ssj2 or goku against android. I would like to have a budokai tenkaichi 2+3 remake with the suggestions above.

The one DBZ game that recreated the cutscenes as per the show was Budokai 1 and Burst Limit, unfortunately both only went as far as Cell's arc.



EDIT: Ultimate Tenkaichi also had an awesome Gohan SSJ2 scene.

Dragonball seems to be like Pokemon - every year a new version to get money from the kids of the generation.

But well, I loved Budokai too. Good old Budokai.

I really wanna get into the Xenoverse series, but after the first one I couldn't. I Really hope it brings some content with it.

Did they post system requirements for the game? Last Naruto game was playable for me but with a little drop frame rate (my PC is starting to get old for new games that need new graphic cards). I hope they didn't upgrade system that much from the first game.
