Hacking dpg's on windows?

Is it possible to play DPG files on the computer, or is there any way to convert DPG's back to .avi or something?

dpg is just some kind of MPEG2, so basically yes, you gonna play this back on your PC.
Actually any software I downloaded do encode DPG had a dpg player with it.
