If i keep on pushing to other directions too long, it adapts to it and starts doing it to directions i pushed in

d-pad and circle pad are different things, d-pads rarely broke, so i suppose it's the circle pad
maybe you'll need a calibration or replace the circle pad stick

oooh, that happened to a friend, no matter what he did, he had to replace the entire circle pad :/
