Hacking downloaded software transferrable?

For some reason, I can't find this question......If I buy another DS console, what happens to the DSi downloadable software that I paid for on my previous console. Does it transfer automatically, or is there something else I need to do?

If you buy original DS or DS lite, then no, you can't transfer your DSi softwares.
If you buy DSi, (if I remember right) you have to send your both DSi to Nintendo and ask that would they send DSi softwares to another DSi.
