I'm still on the firmware before this one. And since this new one really doesn't fix anything, I guess there's no reason to update.

But I do have one question about the new firmware. Does the purple(or magenta) screen still appear right before the game starts?

I guess if that was fixed, it's worth updating for.

I think it still does that. Tho if I remember correctly the icons "invisible" color for the skins looks a lot like the color that shows up when starting a rom. Perhaps it has something to do with that? As for what that firmware fixes, I think the only game I know of that it fixed anything with was Spider-Man: Friend or Foe, which sucks anyway. I'm also on 2.3, since my text is the right color and the icons are centered. @[email protected] Must... be... centered...

C'mon G6Team, fix these silly bugs so I can promote your otherwise good G6 Real product amongst my friends!

Yeah I mean c'mon this update is pretty much purely cosmetic ala Microsoft Windows.

I actually recommended two of my friends who recently bought a DS to buy the R4 as they are least likely to run into any problems. Apart from the spring breaking (but I haven't met anyone personally whos had that problem).

and complex skins still don't work. better wait for OSX on the next update...
