OMG so awesome! I downloaded Winamp today to see what it was all about and this exclusive offer came with it from eMusic to download 50 mp3's for free! All you have to do is enter your card details and then cancel before the 14 day trial is over or before you go over the 50 song download limit. It's so easy to do.

I've downloaded two b-sides by Feeder at the cost of 0p and I have 48 downloads left! I just gotta use them up before the 14 day trial ends.

The mp3's, I was amazed to find, are encoded at 320kbps and come with full ID3tags and cover art and are completely DRM free!

I just wish I found this before I bought Murmur from the iTunes store for 79p and had to burn to cd and rip it back to mp3 to get passed the protection!

    iTunes eat your heart out!

It seems to good to be true but it works! [IMG]

Well, I never heard of it before. This makes the iTunes store look $hit!

And to think I was gonna spend 79p on every track from the iTunes store even though it downloads in some shit .m4p with Apple restrictions, then having to burn to cd and rip it back into mp3 just so it will play on my mp3 player?

    I'll take this. [IMG]

yeah give them YOUR CARD DETAILS! HUH?! ....

...remembering here that not EVERYONE here has a CARD to use... and from being on here for quite some time now...know that not many are even near the age to own a CARD let alone know how to use one doh!

as above acquire music the same way as mentioned above ...no need to bother with entering precious card details for a few tracks! [IMG]

I would buy CDs and rip them in FLAC, but they cost like 17.99 per album around here. I mean, the first Rhapsody (Of fire) album costs 24.99 = 12% tax?! WTF?

I try to download as much as I can, since it's more fun this way.

You people have heard of a little application called Doubletwist haven't you? Google it and see what you can do to m4p. I think you'll like what you see. From the same guy who cracked the DVD aka DVD Jon.

Lol, I forgot that GBAtemp is the epitome of piracy so yeah, sure use Limewire etc.

I made this thread because eMusic has some songs that aren't available to dl illegally on torrents or P2P etc. like I said in the 1st post, there are b-sides on eMusic which are only available to get by paying...

So consider this an alternative to the iTunes store where you get 50 dls for free instead of paying 79p per track.

I also like the fact that all of eMusic's mp3's are encoded at 320kbps and that can be a hassle to find when dling illegally off the internet and 320kbps sounds much better than your average Limewire mp3 at 192kbps.
