Hey guys, so I'm having problems executing section 3 of this guide: https://plailect.github.io/Guide/dsiware-downgrade. Steel Diver is on version 1.0. I have also selected a mii and exited the software before running Steelhax. When I open Steel Diver after executing steelhax, I just get a message saying 'Corrupted save data has been deleted.' I've tried this numerous times but haven't been able to get around the error.
I have a copy of Cubic Ninja so am able to execute Ninjhax on 3DS#2 - is that sufficient - can I skip section 3 for now?

normally steelhax works after some tries...
but yeah, it is just a secondary entrypoint for the homebrew channel on 3DS#2 before downgrading.
so as long as you can run ninjhax, you should be fine without steelhax.

Thanks for confirming :) I now have another problem though, during the system transfer process (section 5), it's not letting me get past the step where it checks if the system is eligible for a system transfer on 3DS#2. It checks for around 5-10 mins and then I just get error '005-4040' and am told that I can't continue. I have ctr-httpwn running...

*EDIT* I'm getting the same error when trying to access the eShop from 3DS#2 but not #1. I wasn't able to update ctr-httpwn's 'server_config.xml' file as I'm guessing the server's down, but I only updated it a couple of days ago so assume it's alright?

hmmm, i don't know about that error code, maybe ctr-hhtpwn isn't working(?).
but i did the dsi downgrade with fieldrunners on my n3dsxl a few days ago. i had both systems upgraded to 11.2 to do the system transfer and everything worked out great. there really is no need to keep 3ds#2 on a lower firmware as of now.

Oh, I didn't know that, I thought it failed if the firmware was on 11.2.0, thanks!

As ctrhttpwn is still down, would someone else mind just confirming that there's no disadvantage to upgrading to 11.2.0 on 3DS#2 when following the dsiware downgrade guide?

As long as you have a device with a9lh+luma already on it, then you can be on 11.2

I just did a downgrade with a 3DS 11.2 with a90lh+luma against a N3DSXL on 11.2 using steelhax and field runners
