Is it possible to do this without buying a new game?

You can get, Browserhax, Menuhax and Ironhax in 10.3 for free and use them to downgrade.

Yeah, get to 10.3 and get a free entrypoint before Nintendo rolls an update to block them again.

Thanks for the help. I have installed BrowserHax and now I'm at the Homebrew Launcher. Is that all I have to do?

If it is, is all left for me to do is follow the guide you sent for downgrading?

I suggest you to get Menuhax amd Ironhax too, you can never be too careful.

Regarding the downgrade, I personally haven't tested it and I would advise people to wait a little more before trying a downgrade, this tools barely released yesterday, there has been bricks reported and I think waiting to see them a bit more polished and bugless is the way to go.

But if you want to go ahead, feel free to do so.

Many users have also reported success, I will wait rather than risk a brick so early.
