Double-Spoiler Bug When Editing

So, on some threads I own (this one in particular), editing my own posts has resulted in spoilers doubling, cutting off text and isolating it in its own spoiler. I had this issue on Chrome, but even since I've switched to Firefox, the issue still persists. Turning off "rich text" used to fix this problem, but it no longer seems to act as a proper remedy.

This bug makes it incredibly frustrating to update posts that contain a multitude of spoilers, and it's caused by the editor inserting

[/SPOILER][SPOILER="Whatever name"]

after every actual spoiler.

I would appreciate this bug getting fixed in whatever forum software GBATemp uses, somewhat soon.

This is not a bug, per se, although I guess you could see it as one.
Doubling spoilers is a symptom of incorrectly nested BBcode tags. Switching to the BBcode editor allows you to verify this, but unless you actually fix the tags it's still going to break.

I've gone through your post and cleaned up a large amount of unneeded tags. It took me a while since the post is pretty big (nice work, btw), but it should be correct now.
One small change I did make is I changed all the black text to the default color, since it was a bit hard to read on the dark themes.
If the post messes up again in the future, or there is any other post I need to look at, feel free to let me know.

I've attached the before and after versions of your post, should you want to compare.

Thank you for your assistance in getting the issue resolved! The default text color isn't a large issue, and I will update the thread accordingly.
