Hi, I have currently following problem:

  • I turn off Switch

  • Inject Tinfoil for RCM Mode

  • Press Volume Up and Power Button for 2 seconds

  • Screen stays black --> RCM Mode should be activated

  • I plug the Switch to my Windows PC and TegraRCMGUI shows "NO RCM"
I also don't seem to see the Switch in my Windows Device Manager. And it's weird, because it worked all the time. And I think I am still in RCM Mode, because as I said, when pressing Volume Up and Power there's no Nintendo Logo Screen or anything booting at all

What have I done so far?

  • Installed Reinx on Exfat

  • Installed Hekate and created a backup

  • Install ChoidujourNX following this setup:

  • I use 6.0.1 NX version, since my switch is also at 6.0.1

In the video I came to the part, where I should inject Hekate as payload for the second time. I did that and then I should start the CFW. However I wasn't able to do that, since it showed me, I have no libraries and plugins installed. (I saw there is a SD card fix for this)

So I injected the payload again, then I saw a Boot animation of Hekate and since then I have this issue.

I can however still power on my switch, holding the power button for 12 seconds. Then the switch boots normally, but only then. However I can't seem to get back into RCM. It's just weird, TegraRCMGUI worked for me the whole time and now it won't detect it anymore..

Congrats on being the umpteenth person of getting their console bricked after following that specific video. If you have a NAND backup (which you have no reason to have not made), now is the time to restore it.

There is not much wrong with the video itself (aside from the fact that video tutorials become outdated the moment they are uploaded) but the fact that it uses pre-compiled files is already a red flag as those are also outdated the moment they are pre-compiled.

ok thanks

I have the same problem. Solution?
TegraRCM worked for me the whole time and now it won't detect it anymore. Device Manager too.
