Hacking Done a DS paintjob now have power on issues.

I just overpainted my DS to black, but now it doesn't boot anymore :'(

I checked all the connectors, and I cleaned them with spiritus.
Also i checked for possible cracks in the cable between the topscreen and the DS mainboard.
All cables are well put into the connectors.

I'm able to charge the DS , BUt when I turn the power on the screen flashes repeatedly every 2 seconds.
Also I hear a strange crackling sound (from the speakers i think)

You'll hate this suggestion, but really check those screen ribbon cables are pushed in all the way before locking them in place. They go in a lot, lot further than people expect and are the cause of most of the problems people have re-assembling a DS.
