Jerry Rice & Nitus' Dog Football is inbound for the Wii. I don't know why they passed up the obvious marketing opportunity with Micheal Vick being that he is more well known to dog lovers. Discuss.

Edit: I'm actually looking forward to this. I wonder what kind of touchdown celebrations a dog would perform? Intriguing. Oh yea, the game also features a 'Golden Fire Hydrant' instead of the Lombardi Trophy. Brilliant!

Update: This game has been released. Has anybody played it? Judging by the video, it doesn't look very fun. A jerky framerate, bad collision animations, and a heavy-handed "family" presentation have killed my anticipation for it. And at a 29.99 starting price it seems positioned to be a shovel-ready release.

Shame, I was really looking forward to it. [IMG]

So wait. Did you or did you not see the video before deciding you wanted it?

Didn't. This thread is 8 months old but I added the video and, consequently, lack of enthusiasm today.

I'm still holding on to the notion that the legendary Tecmo Bowl will be reborn in some way, someday. This is not that game, though.

It takes hours to load it. Can't wait. This is going to be fun.
