I'm guessing it does.
nope, it doesn't.
Created a CIA of my Retail version and I was able to install and play it.
Really? That's surprising since it's a 1st party release. I hope this is true and someone else can confirm.
Just check "this iso site", you'll find a working version (I'm on N3DS FW. 9.0 and use PastaCFW with Firmlaunch. it works)
Sadly my 3DS I above 9.2 and I have to use a Sky3DS :/ so I'm forced to wait until Sky3DS updates their template file to include Trifoce Heroes.
It does have it.
When you see cryptofixed on the title this means that it has the new anti piracy encryption and it's fixed to work on all kinds of 3DSes. Unfortunately, it won't work on Sky3DS but GW 3.4.1 with new anti piracy fix.
Ah, thanks for this.
AC HHD does have anti-piracy and they created a playable.cia file...
'Cryptofixed' term is overused. It is originally used for eShop titles that is encrypted using 9.6 NCCH seed crypto. However, when a game doesn't work on N3DS 9.5, people always think it need to be 'cryptofixed', while a simple firmware spoof in exheader is enough.
AP only affects .3ds format.
cfw user (and now gw user) has nothing to worry about it.
use crappy tiny reader from 3dbrew to see if a 3ds file contain this AP check. (bottom left of the second tab will show the flag)
tl;dr Sky3DS users on sysNAND 9.3 and above can't play it.
The new AP doesn't apply to CIAs.
That isn't the AP people are talking about, besides, only eShop games and updates from the eShop use the new encryption.
They will never do that. There's no way for Sky3DS to bypass the new AP, seeing as their cart is not firmware upgradable.
CIA's dont have the piracy check, so you are wrong.

The only way I see it possible is with either a modification to the ROM, or through some software - based launcher (like R5, dont tell smea!)
The latter may be possible, but ROM modification isn't possible with the Sky.
"AP flag detected"
yab , the .3DS have AP
I made a backup of my Cartridge. It works fine (Gateway) in Local Play. Haven't tried Online. Strangely the Game saves by altering the ROM file on Gateway’s SD.
So what are the Sky3DS team gonna do?
This is because the game is a CARD2 game (modifies a section of the ROM that is actually editable). The reason being is the save file is too big to use standard saving mechanism (mainly due to the 100 screenshots you can save).
