If there is one, I haven't seen it. Not a real mod. There are cheap HDMI cables available but I don't know if they output a good picture and even though theyre cheap I'm not buying one to find out. I have a Super Famicom Jr. which I modded for RGB and S-video, and afaik the RGB-out from that console (or a 1-chip SNES/SuFami) is as good as it gets from real hardware. But the Analogue Super NT has HDMI and it's fantastic. Even though I have that SuFami jr. and 2 Super Famicoms, the Super NT is what I always use for SNES.

when it is rgb moded , does that directly imply you can use something like the "the HD RETROVISION SNES component video cables" and then use that on a scalar is that what you are doing? Is the super NT always sold out?

I don't know about hd retro vision component cables. My guess would be that cable converts the native RGB from the SNES to component signal, which would still be pretty good.

A regular SNES or SuFami console outputs RGB natively and doesn't need to be modded. The "jr." models do not have native RGB output (composite only) but have better graphic output than the original consoles after being modded.

I use a Micomsoft Framemeister upscaler. Used to be the best, but there are better ones out there now. I run several old consoles through it, not just SNES. (I don't really even use it for SNES now because of the Super nt, but it's there when I do) I think the Retrotink 4k is the top dog upscaler now.

As for the Super NT, nobody knows if Analogue will ever make it available again. I think the last time they said it was the "last run." If you really want one, your best bet is ebay.

what connector do you use in order to connect your Snes Jr? Do you use a SCART connector?

I am consireing this since my plan is to get a gbsc then eventually somethink like a retrotink and they all have the scart connector

I use JP21, which is the Japanese version of SCART. I got Nintendo, PlayStation, and Saturn/Genesis JP21 cables from Micomsoft when I bought the Framemeister, along with their switch box for multi inputs. But the Framemeister can also be used with SCART. Only difference between JP21 and SCART is the pinout on the jack.

I could be wrong with this, but my understanding with the SNES is that in order to make a HDMI mod, someone would have to create a board that converts the analog output to digital. And even then, the original analog output quality would greatly depend on whether you have a 1chip console or a 2chip, and whether you have a RGB mod installed that cleans up the image prior to it being converted to digital.
Not only would that make the mod more complicated due to the various revisions of the console and the different parts you have to install, but at that point you have to wonder why you didnt just buy a good video scaler like a Retrotink or a OSSC.
