I've been messing around with NES and Gameboy music for almost 2 years now. One of the most interesting things was trying to get the GB wave channel to sound like NES triangle channel which it does to some capacity "although it's a bit quiet for that but it's not too bad". I just started getting around to the GBA about 7 months and I noticed that the wave channel on GBA seems to sound worst than it does on the original Gameboy and I'm not sure why? When it comes to the NES triangle-ish wave that sounds totally worst with all sorts of artifacts that make the wave sound very unpleasant. Can anyone explain what's going on here?

I have examples here for you to listen to they also contain the gbs and minigsf files if anyone's interested in looking into it further
