Hacking does R4 ds support mp3?

hi all, i got my marvellous R4 DS yesterday and its superb. i would like to ask if this R4 support music files? for example if i copy a music file to my microsd then play at my ds under multimedia, does it work?

Sure does. Worth mentioning though, is that it plays mp3 files indirectly. Since the default program under the multimedia icon is moonshell, which is a separate program.

Moonshell supports AAC, but ive yet to encode one thatll run without static
LMP also supports FLAC. Who'd want to play files a bit smaller than WAV beats me but it's there
