Hacking Does "Pokémon Platinum" need wi-fi connection to transfer data to Pokémon Battle revolution (wii)?

i have this DS lite with DSTT and Pokémon platinum and i tried to connect the DS with my wii, i really dont know how to connect it, do someone know?
if you do, please, give me a step by step instructions to connect and transfer data to my wii.

Make sure the Wii game is looking for the DS console, and then on the DS, open the menu where you load the save data. The option to connect to Wii should appear.
