Hacking does nintendo still patch 3ds to block the R4 Cartridge?

cause i have a r4 dual core 2017 ( this is the fake one from r4isdhc.hk)

is there any way to update the kernel of this card (attached picture)

who knows, afaik they stopped patching flashcarts since firmware v7.x I think (not really sure), well

so if they patch it, well the flashcart makers can just supply a another stage 1 loader update to appear as another game and now that cfw is now accessible to almost anyone who had a ntrboot, this doesnt matter anymore since luma can just patch that out.

Nope, it doesn't block flashcarts when booting at bootrom level, so it's still unpatchable.

It does it automatically, as soon as you install Luma, all your blocked flashcarts will start working again

11.6 was the last update, and that was ages ago. So I feel they haven't the need to start blocking more. Maybe they got tired of it?

Yeah, my old R4iit never worked on my 3DS, Luma3DS does all the job for unlocking all the blocklist.

never know that. so its safe to update my 3DS to latest firmware as long i have a LUMA on my 3ds? tnx (i still using this to play DS games so dont want to lose that feature)

The b9s is the one that makes 3ds safe to update since you can just run godmode9, with gm9 possibilities are endless.
