Hacking Does it matter when you trim roms?

I've started playing Bleach DS before i thought of trimming the 128mb rom. Will trimming the rom now screw the game or anything? I've a plenty of other roms to trim, but im afraid i have to restart each game after trimming them >_<

So does trimming the rom (after you've started playing it) affect future gameplay?
