Does Crashes in App Testing Corrupt the Wii

    Here's a question that has been concerning me for some time.

    Like many, I test lots of apps from Triiforce to USB loaders and others. Of course, there would be many black screen freezes and DSI errors along the way.

    Do these corrupt the Wii gradually, perhaps Nand corruption?

    Nope.

    The only danger is if the app writes to nand and crashes in the middle of writing something. But then again you take that same risk when using anything that writes to nand.

    Not at all, as the Nand is a flash chip restoring to a previous clean state with bootmii makes all good again.

    Personally I think there should be no "damage" or "corruption" to the Nand at all.

    Yeah its fairly safe to test. As long as it doesn't touch the system memory its really safe. The danger comes mainly from beta testing something along the lines of preloader without proper brick protection.
