Hacking Does Crashes in App Testing Corrupt the Wii

Here's a question that has been concerning me for some time.

Like many, I test lots of apps from Triiforce to USB loaders and others. Of course, there would be many black screen freezes and DSI errors along the way.

Do these corrupt the Wii gradually, perhaps Nand corruption?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Not at all, as the Nand is a flash chip restoring to a previous clean state with bootmii makes all good again.

Personally I think there should be no "damage" or "corruption" to the Nand at all.

Yeah its fairly safe to test. As long as it doesn't touch the system memory its really safe. The danger comes mainly from beta testing something along the lines of preloader without proper brick protection.

This morn woke up n seen cops and ambulance at his house, so I walked over there just in time, they were bout to bust down his front door, said they got a 911 call then open line. So I open door n his house phone was off hook on kitchen counter. Somehow one his cats knocked phone off hook and dialed 911.
