Blasphemy! [IMG] I loved my C64, I haven't got one now but I've got one of those 10 in 1 joysticks. There's literally hundreds of amazing games. It was the Amiga of it's time, hell it was the Xbox360 of it's time! Have you seriously never played any C64 games or are you pulling all our legs?

    YEAH RETRO GAMING ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    C64,ZX81,AMSTRAD,MSX,ATARI,AMIGA,DRAGON 32 along with retro consoles GENESIS,N64,PS1,SNES,NES,GAME GEAR,ATARI 2600 etc etc etc!!

I have crap loads of these cool emulators on my PSP!!!!!

sure the graphics are crappy and the sound ..... but the fact that us older gamers wasted days and possibly months on these ye oldie games shows that they had playability that lasted!

my point today is with some games and looking at the latest SHOVELWARE releases is that its the same old same old crud being churned out under a different name that's playable for about 10 minutes never to see the light of day again!

don't get me wrong there's loads of games out there that are on NEXT GEN consoles that are fantastic but.... at the time when these RETRO consoles were out they were STATE OF THE ART! and cool and still are cool to those of us out there that love retro gaming [IMG]

and yeah whys this in offtopic when its mindless ranting it should be in EOF!

anyhow to the point C64 didnt really emulate anything as there wasnt much to emulate before it duh! it's a retro console!

to be honest, that was really just a failed attempt to get people to list the good games it had/has... because I have never really played anything older than a megadrive (well, i had an atari before that, but i was really to young at the time to understand it).

Actually, the C-64 can emulate both the PET and the VIC-20.

    Hey, you asked. [IMG]
