Thanks to everyone that has been posting their impressions of the R4. When my ds lite comes I think i'll order one. I was just wondering if beup (homebrew msn messenger for ds) will be compatible with the R4. If someone could test it i'd really appreciate it.

Here's a youtube video of beup in action (looks pretty cool):

Here's a link to the download:

I really hope it works on the R4 because I definitely want to use it. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to try it for me.

I wouldn't mind knowing too. Beup is the most useful homebrew that I will probably use, even more than moonshell. I own a 5.5G iPod so moonshell doesn't even matter to me.

Is it safe to use those third party msn clients?

I'm just wary of them case they steal your password. Will try it on my R4 for you if it's definitley a safe prog

I think it's safe. The creators of Beup released the source. If something fishy was there, I think that we would have heard of it...

So you can safely try beup on your R4 and tell us how this marvelous piece of hardware is doing ^^
