So I've been using SX OS for a while, and thought I'd try out Atmosphere since, you know, TX sucks at releasing updates in a timely manner. I don't know if I'll switch to Atmosphere yet, but I wanted to try it.

So far, I've not had much luck. I grabbed the Atmosphere release from github and loaded it onto my SD card, which created the folders atmosphere, sept, and switch. It also put the hbmenu.nro in the root folder of my SD card.

Then I grabbed fusee_primary.bin from Atmosphere's github, and injected it with TegraRCMSmashGui from RCM mode. The Atmosphere splash screen appears, and the console boots. All would appear to be wonderful.

However, when I press the "Album" button in the switches home screen, it doesn't go to the homebrew menu. Instead it goes to the normal switch stock album screen. So I got the Atmosphere boot splash screen, and the switch's system menu says "Current version: 4.1.0 (AMS 0.8.9)". So I know for sure that Atmosphere is loaded and running, but then the album button doesn't access homebrew.

What am I doing wrong? Why can't I get to the homebrew menu?

Tools I'm using:
FAT32 formatted SD card
Atmosphere 0.8.9 deployment from Atmosphere-NX's github
fusee_primary.bin from Atmosphere-NX's github
TegraRCMSmashGUI 2.5 from eliboa's github

The files on my SD card are:
SD:/Nintendo/* <non-CFW stuff in here>

Hi,

you need to hold R while launching Album. This behavior is like this since v0.8.6 :

The default behavior for loader's HBL support was changed.
  • Instead of launching HBL when album is launched without R held, loader now launches HBL when album or any game is launched with R held.

you can reverse it in the loader.ini config, but i don't recommend it, as default behavior is to also be able to override titles for full RAM usage, which is useful for certain emulators, and if you reverse it, you will have to hold R to normally launch a game instead of hbmenu
