For anyone here that actually has a PS4 Pro on 5.50 and a not 4K tv, does anyone notice a difference when using the super sampling mode? I just was curious if I'm just poor vision or not.

Just got fine. I certainly done notice any difference when playing Far Cry 5 on either setting. If you look at comparison videos they look virtually the same too.

i had nvidia gpu in the past and it used super sampling as well ..it clearly made difference and eliminated the aliasing and enriched the overall texture quality.
i don't have ps4 pro but it should give you similar results.

The real benefit to supersampling is elimination of aliasing, making the entire image sharper as a result of downsampling from more information and a higher pixel density. Online comparison videos don't do this justice as a result of compression. If you see a native 1080p image vss.a higher res image downscaled to 1080p, you'll notice that the downscaled image is sharper.
