    i'm mostly curious.

i finally got a second xbox, and it has a sammy (don't know which version. also, it is extremely loud).

it'll be nice to get back on live, after i've stabilized the new box. it occasionally red rings, and i was able to pick it up for 40 bucks because of it.

why not buy a benq/liteon drive and put that in?

my guess is they will drop Samsung/Hitachi (Hitachi for sure) think, hitachi drives still are at 1.51, while their at LT with Benq and lite-on, and 1.6/1.61 for Samsung

i don't think LT allows for spoofing, at least i know you can't spoof a lite-on.

there is no need to spoof anymore with the recent dashboard updates.

More recently E66 was removed, which means any drive with the right key will boot games, BUT this is almost certainly logged..

If you replace the drive, you still need the old one's key correct?

and i don't want that to happen. if/when i mod this box, i would like to stay secure for a bit longer. i'm hoping LT can just live up to its hype.
